Sauvignon a go-go!!

O.k, team!!!!  This your chance to help create a Marlborough wine!!  We have our four different Sauvignon Blanc ferments sitting in our tanks and barrels.  These components need carefully piecing together for us to produce our 2009 ‘Tall Story’ Savvy.  We want you to help!!

This is the plan Stan….

We’ll send you the four samples with some simple instruction.   You mix and match the wines, a dash into this, a splash into that. Or maybe you just like one better than the rest!  Once you’ve found your own little piece of wine Nirvana as we know you will.  Return the info.  This will include the % of each wine that went into your final blend.  We then punch all of the data into the Fiasco super computer…..and quicker than you can say ‘dont buy cheap shitty wine ‘ we will have our 09 blend.

And you know what you helped make it!!!!

If you are shipping to OZ count me in to participate in the blending process. I would also like to purchase wine too.

    Hi Blendies,

Totally amazing reponse for our Sauvignon a go-go blend up! Your comments here and messages on Twitter have warmed our hearts greatly. We are constantly learning about wine and all the processes that go with it. You can never know enough!! A while ago we go thinking that the whole winemaking process can be a bit insular, and that people are missing out on some really interesting stuff. Hence this blending Fiasco. We think, the more we can share with you the better off we will all be in the world of wine.

For those that have asked the question “so how do we sign up”….well you already have by either leaving a comment here, or a DM on Twitter. All you need to do know is send us your address to info@fiascowines.co.nz

    Your friends in wine,

    Aaron and Jacinda

I’d love to sign up, but I imagine you won’t ship to France, and I’m not sure about import restrictions into the EU either… in any case, this is a DYNAMITE interactive marketing idea and I wish you every success – I’ll watch what happens with interest.

(BTW, kiwi sauvignon blanc is pretty hard to find over here, but when I did get hold of a bottle of Marlborough SB a few months ago, my French mates were blown away – most of them normally steer clear of whites , but they were really impressed).

    Thanks for the comments Richard!

There is a whole lot more to wine than simply being a beverage in a bottle. We just want to share some of the experiences we have with our wines, with anyone that is interested. Yeah, unfortunately getting the samples to France would be a bit of a problem. If you are ever over this way call in and see us!!

I’m ready to ‘Blend It Like Beckham’. If the Tasman Sea is a barrier, I will find someone to mix a version of Fiasco Firewater on my behalf.

    Fiasco do things differently! Yeeha!
